Robert is the bass player for Ben Folds Five, who were one of the most distinctive and innovative bands of the alternative scene in the 90's, beloved for their kinetic live shows and piano-powered popcraft. After separating for a decade, they reunited and released their most recent studio album, The Sound of the Life of the Mind, in 2012.
