Susan Tedeschi’s fearless stage presence, guitar talents and unmatched vocal prowess have earned her a reputation as one of the best contemporary blues-rock artists performing today. She currently fronts the 12-member powerhouse Tedeschi Trucks Band, which she started ten years ago with her husband Derek Trucks after a long and successful solo career. 

Derek Truck's musical career began at the age of nine, when he picked up a five dollar acoustic guitar at a yard sale. "It was nothing special," he claims, "It was just the only thing that looked interesting." A portion of profits from the sale of Susan Tedeschi's and Derek Truck's strings go to support the Kofi Burbridge Music Matters Fund established in partnership with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation in 2019 after the Tedeschi Trucks Band keyboardist and flautist passed away.
