Musicians centered in Athens, GA need a place to fall back on when things get tough. When their mental health is poor they must find a place to help with financial, personal, or medical crises.

Nuci's Space

WHY THEY ROCK:  Nuçi’s Space is a non-profit health and music resource center in Athens, GA. The aim of the organization is to prevent suicide by providing obstacle free treatment for musicians suffering from depression and other such disorders as well as to assist in the emotional, physical and professional well-being of musicians.

WHAT THEY DO:  Nuci’s Space provides career/professional, emotional and physical support and youth programs. Practice spaces and equipmental for bands are often forced to practice in cramped, uncomfortable, and even unsafe environments are available. For mental health Nuçi’s Space has access to a bank of licensed professional counselors who agree to see musicians at a very low cost. They also help find uninsured physicians, eye doctors, and custom fit musician earplugs. 

Camp Amped Summer Program and After School are youth programs which support the mission of Nuçi’s Space by serving as an outreach program to young musicians.
